If you run into issues when trying to apply an optimization or not being able to install Hone, try excluding Hone from your anti-virus.

Exclude Hone from Kaspersky

If you run into issues such as errors when trying to apply an optimization or not being able to install Hone, try excluding Hone from Kaspersky.

Step 1: Go to Settings

Click the Settings button in the bottom left corner of the main window.

Step 2: Go to Threats and Exclusions

Go to AdditionalThreats and Exclusions.

Step 3: Manage exclusions

Click the Manage exclusions link to open the Exclusions window and press the Add button.

Step 4: Select Hone Folder

Select the File or folder input field and paste the following file path:

%localappdata%\Programs\Hone\

Step 5: Add Hone as Exclusion

Add the exclusion and confirm the changes.

Exclude Hone from RAV Endpoint Protection

If you run into issues such as errors when trying to apply an optimization or not being able to install Hone, try excluding Hone from RAV Endpoint Protection.

Step 1: Go to Settings

On the bottom left corner, head over to the Settings page and locate the Exclusion tab.

Step 2: Add Hone Folder

Press the Add button – this will open a file explorer window.

Step 3: Search for the Hone Directory

In the file path search bar, enter the following file path to exclude Hone: %localappdata%\Programs\Hone\

Step 4: Confirm

Click Select press Yes to confirm your choice.

Exclude Hone from Avast Antivirus

If you run into issues such as errors when trying to apply an optimization or not being able to install Hone, try excluding Hone from Avast.

Step 1: Open Menu

Open the Menu, which is located on the top right corner

Step 2: Open Settings

Go to the Settings page

Step 3: Open Exceptions an Add Hone

Under the general tab, click on Exceptions

Step 4: Search for Hone Directory

Add the following file path as an exception: %localappdata%\Programs\Hone\

Exclude Hone from 360 Total Security

If you run into issues such as errors when trying to apply an optimization or not being able to install Hone, try excluding Hone from 360 Total Security.

Step 1: Go to the Settings page

Step 2: Head over to the Trust List page

Step 3: Press on Add Directory

Locate the following file path: C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Programs\Hone

Step 4: Make sure the Hone folder shows up in the preview
